Theory Test

The Theory Test is made of 2 parts; multiple choice and the Hazard Perception Test (HPT) and you must pass both parts before booking a Practical Driving Test

Part 1. The multiple choice part is done by answering 50 questions on a touch screen monitor in 57 minutes and the pass mark is 43

Part 2. HPT is done by clicking the mouse button There are 14 video clips of everyday road scenes, each scene will have at least one developing hazard, but one scene will have two developing hazards. The earlier you click for the developing hazard the higher you score. The pass mark is 44 out of 75.
